Sapphic Bison is a nonprofit organization on a mission to fix trans healthcare and ensure that its future is shaped by trans people. We believe in a world where trans healthcare is as accessible and prioritised as cis healthcare, closing the gaps created by systemic neglect and transphobia.
Our approach combines direct action and systemic change. We provide affordable, accessible blood testing services across the UK. At the same time, we push for long-term improvements through research, education, and collaboration with healthcare providers.
You’ll find a list of open positions below. We know that non-profit work can be especially taxing for marginalised people - just existing is often hard enough. That’s why we try to pay our team where possible, especially those without significant income from other sources.
However, since our funding is limited, we are also always looking for passionate volunteers who want to make a difference (and have the spoons to do so).
